Exhibition of the life of the Capuchino order
San Fermín, 12 bis
31003 Pamplona

This exhibition is directed at safeguarding and displaying a collection of items relating to the life of the order in the provinces of Navarre – Cantabria – Aragon. The exhibition principally covers two facets of the order’s activity: the first presents the order’s missionary work through documents and ethnographic items from different countries in Africa, America and the archipelagos of Oceania; the second reflects the order’s presence in the religious province in which Navarre is located, including a detailed study of the most historical convents.

Other sections are dedicated to describing the figure of Father Esteban de Adoáin and to displaying remembrances of some of the Capuchino monks distinguished for their merits.  The works of renowned painters and sculptures lend atmosphere to the exhibition with paintings and sculptures of members of the order by masters such as Ciga, Sacristán, Basiano, Pérez Torres, Oteiza.

Opening times: From Monday to Thursday fro 7 to 8.30 h. Groups, by pre-arrangement.
